Metamorphosis
For this project, I took on 10 different design exercises that ranged from photography to pattern creation. The challenge was to bring these exercises together into a single book with a cohesive concept, all while using just three colors: black, white, and red.
As I explored different ideas, I was really drawn to the concept of Metamorphosis. This led me to approach the book design from both a literal and abstract perspective. I kept asking myself: What undergoes metamorphosis? What kinds of changes do we see in nature?
The narrative I developed for the book is centered around the idea that change is the only constant. I used this theme to connect the different design exercises and create a sense of continuity throughout the book spreads.
