Café Kur: Stop 2 – Mokkafee Köpenick

The second stop on my Café Kur took me to Mokkafee, a lively café set in a historical building that adds some old-world charm. It takes a few steps to get inside, and like many places in Berlin, they’re cash-only, so come prepared!

The friendly staff greeted me on the cool, windy day, and I was fortunate to sit next to a heater. Mokkafee has a let’s stay for a little while atmosphere.

Mokkafee has a daily quiche on offer and some seriously delicious cakes. I tried the Mohnstreusel (poppy seed crumble cake) and loved it.

What I loved most about this café is the contrast between the historical exterior and the modern interior, which features artwork from local photographers. It’s like stepping into a creative little hub hidden within Köpenick’s old town.
