Iraq 2.0
A 96-page book inspired by the theme of war, drawing on the emotional and political complexities of the subject. The challenge was to use typography in a way that not only communicated the content but also embodied the weight of the concept itself. By manipulating text and imagery, I was able to visually express the devastation and fallout of conflict.
During the time I worked on this project, the second Iraq War had just ended, and the return of troops was a major cultural event. With this in mind, I took a journalistic approach to the design, crafting a book that mimicked a redacted newspaper.
